Public invited to upcoming drug addiction seminar in Bucks County

August 2, 2017 – Local residents are encouraged to attend a public discussion on drug addiction in Bucks County next week.

On Monday, August 7, Yardley Mayor Chris Harding and law enforcement officials will present a free “Drug Awareness & Identification Workshop” at St. Ignatius Church. Members from the Pennsylvania State Police, the Philadelphia Police Department and the Yardley Borough Police Department will lead the presentation to inform residents about the drug crisis.

Malvern Institute operates an outpatient center in Bucks County located on Street Road in Trevose.

Via the Bucks Local News:

“The workshop will be an opportunity for people to learn about the current drugs that are out there on the street, the challenge they represent, the packaging and what they look like and what they do,” said Harding. “I believe, as a community, we need to talk about this and have a discussion. There are a lot of things going on in our world right now, especially with drugs and our youth. We can’t put our head in the sand.”

If you or a loved one are living with addiction and have any questions about the Malvern Intervention Model or the Malvern 90-Day Model, please give us a call at 610.MALVERN (610.625.8376).
