Patricia has been with Malvern Institute since 2012, working her way up to Director of Special Programming. During her tenure as Executive Director, her accomplishments included developing and implementing the Women’s Empowerment “WE” Program; an innovative program that addresses the unique needs of women in early recovery, especially those with trauma histories and co-occurring disorders. Prior to her taking the reins and overseeing all aspects of patient care, she gained experience at Malvern as both a primary counselor and a clinical director. Patricia has worked in the behavioral healthcare field since 2003, serving as a counselor at Livengrin Foundation and JEVS Human Services before joining the Malvern family in 2012. Patricia holds a Master’s in Business Administration, with a concentration in Health Care Management, from the University of Phoenix, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Behavioral Health from Alvernia University, and an Addiction Studies Certification from the Community College of Pennsylvania. She’s a Certified Co-Occurring Disorders Professional and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
