Knowing the signs of substance abuse

October 3, 2017 – Understanding the symptoms of addiction is vital to treating the disease effectively. That’s what learning the signs and raising awareness is an ongoing priority in the battle against the nation’s drug epidemic.

The Philadelphia Tribune published a comprehensive list of things for loved ones to look for to determine if they should seek treatment for addiction and why it’s important:

Research shows that combining addiction treatment and medications with behavioral therapy ensures the best chance of success for most recovering patients. Treatments are tailored to each patient’s drug use patterns, with any related medical, mental or social problems being addressed.

If you or a loved one are living with addiction and have any questions about the Malvern Intervention Services or the Malvern 90-Day Model, please give us a call at 610.MALVERN (610.625.8376).
