David H. Clements MD. is a psychiatrist double boarded in both Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry. Dr. Clements graduated from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, was Chief Resident at Cooper University Hospital, and completed his Addiction Psychiatry fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. He is currently the president of Southeastern Executive Health, with offices in Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs.
Dr. Clements has been on the medical staff of Malvern Institute for two and a half years where he treats patients and has worked to develop multiple programs in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. His passion is the treatment of Opioid Use Disorder, and he uses the most up to date data driven practices to treat his patients. Dr. Clements is an advocate in the community, educating colleagues, and consulting with programs to improve their treatments of use disorders, most recently presenting to the City of Philadelphia Community Behavioral Health regarding the use of Buprenorphine ER in the Outpatient Setting.
Dr. Clements has recently been named a Top Doctor Under 40 by the Pennsylvania Medical Society, is a member of the Gold Humanism Society, and has received multiple teaching and clinical awards throughout his career. Dr. Clements continues to publish as a private practitioner, most recently as an author on a podium presentation at the American Psychiatric Association regarding the use of Advanced Practitioners in the field of psychiatry. He is a mentor to early career psychiatrists, and is engaged in teaching medical students and residents. His skill in the treatments of use disorders and his compassion and engagement with his patients have made him an indispensable member of the psychiatric community in Southeast Pennsylvania.
