Sun W. Moon

Psy.D., M.B.A., Executive Director, Malvern Behavioral Health.

As a scholar-practitioner in clinical and school psychology and a health & medical services administrator, Sun has served the communities of the greater Philadelphia metropolitan area and made his home here for the past 21 years. He has had the privilege of entering the lives of children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and their families so that they may better enrich each other through their unique challenges. That privilege has allowed him to provide direct clinical care services, clinical supervision to staff and future staff, and clinical and organizational consultation across the clinical service continuum, social services, human services, public and private entities, and legal systems. Sun now spends most of his time providing clinical and executive leadership for Progressions Behavioral Health Services, Inc. so that our hard-working, loving staff can better serve all who looks for or enters its doors.

His current professional interests include executive management of office-based and community-based services and facilities in over 65 unique locations; integrated treatment design for educational, social, and behavioral health services; collaborative care delivery systems; and organizational process improvements in a complex and complicated managed care environment. Sun and his team look to answer today tomorrow’s questions on how to support each other to integrate care and services around each person served across the lifespan, to intentionally engage the community with each person served, to uniquely shape treatment services to hit measurable targets for each person served, to make care decisions based upon evidence and not eminence, and to embrace accountability in quality and outcomes.

Sun has been a resident of Delaware County in Pennsylvania for over two decades. His wonderful wife is a public-school administrator, and they are blessed with a toddler son and a newborn daughter.
